Springpaarden Fonds Nederland (SFN) has announced they will keep Zenith SFN with Dutch rider Jeroen Dubbeldam with the goal of the 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The pair won both Individual and Team Gold at the Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games in Normandy last month, becoming double World Champions.
For the investors in Springpaarden Fonds Nederland the very natural question of selling the horse came up following the World Championships. Despite the financial interest the investors had in selling the 10 year old KWPN gelding, it has been decided to keep on supporting the Netherland’s chance of Olympic victory in two years time and allowing Zenith SFN to remain with Dubbeldam for the next two year period. No statements have been made about SFN’s plans following the 2016 Olympic Games in Brazil.
